Door knocking for presidential political campaign.
Needing 100 people in Tuscon. Anyone who has a team of people, we are welcoming teams to help.
There is a request to help ask 2 to 4 questions for registered voters going to homes on a targeted list for the upcoming presidential campaign.
Work entails downloading an app. Each person will pick the route of people listed in the app and knock on the doors of those addresses they choose. The app is constantly updated with what doors have already been knocked so as not to waste the time and effort of people double-knocking on doors.
Each door should only take 2 to 3 minutes per door to obtain the answers from the person listed in the app. Do not stay and talk. Only ask the questions and move on to the next address.
Workers will be paid $2.00 per door, per registered voter in the home, whether the people are there (or answer the door) or not. If a person is not home, just mark it in the app that they are not home and you'll get paid for that answer.
Requirements of those who work are that they are at least 16 years old; a US citizen or have papers to work in the US; and will have to pass a background check during the onboarding process.
Onboarding and training are starting immediately. There are a few questions to ask the registered voter. Questions will be provided in the training.
Work goes through the day before the election, or until all doors are knocked two (2) times each.
Those who work are independent contractors and will need to fill out a W9 form before starting work. Everyone works as much or as little as they want and picks the route (doors) to knock from inside the app. You can go during normal daylight hours (8 am - 9 pm) 7 days a week.
Payment will occur once a week (midweek) for the previous week's work. All door knocks are being independently audited with geo tracking. Your location tracker needs to be turned on while doing the work to get paid.
