The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services, Research Center or BBN team: JOB DESCRIPTION Team leader Facilities Custodial Supervisor will be responsible for daily oversight of custodial services and custodial personnel. Employees in this job class perform a variety of functions to assure facilities are clean and free of safety hazardsBrief Department/Job DescriptionThe incumbent plans, organizes, assigns and assists custodians engaged in sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, spotting and waxing floors, vacuuming rugs and carpets, cleaning, dusting and polishing furniture, emptying and cleaning of waste receptacles, spotting walls, cleaning of stairwells, hallways, restrooms, offices and lobbies, cleaning, replacing operating scrubbers and buffers and other equipment in the Raytheon Missile Systems. All work to be accomplished in accordance with guidelines Raytheon Building and Property Management.Primary Responsibilities

Coordinates, directs, schedules custodial staff and contracted personnel in performing custodial services.

Maintains professional relationship with site customers, suppliers, and employees.

Conducts facility walks, quality control inspections, safety audits and provides feedback to personnel and customers as appropriate.

Supervises staff; ensures a competent, motivated staff through hiring, training, counseling, and reviewing performance.

Schedules and prioritizes tasks, and ensures adherence to procedures, regulations and guidelines while minimizing errors and safety risks.

Reviews employee time cards for accuracy verifies hours worked and processes PTO according to payroll procedures.

Monitors absences, sick and vacation days of personnel and to ensure departmental coverage and customer satisfaction.

Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications

This job requires knowledge of custodial practices, custodial equipment, customer service techniques, computers, training, coaching, scheduling and the ability to organize and manage multiple projects

Successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of custodial best practices, safety rules, regulations and procedure

Knowledge of methods, materials, chemicals, disinfectants, and equipment used in cleaning offices and buildings, sanitation and safety measures used in the operating, cleaning, and care of equipment and work areas, use of purchase orders for janitorial supplies and equipment

Knowledge of supervision and management techniques, to include good organizational and communication skills,

be able to work independently, moving around plant site.

A valid driver's license is required for this role.

Ability to work occasional overtime and Saturday and Sunday hours are required

Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual ( Spanish) preferred;

Must have experience working with customers and contract execution

Must have experience in supply ordering and purchase order management with related purchase requisitions

Ability to work well within a team and to foster teamwork with both external and internal customers.

Ability and desire to function in a challenging, fast paced, team setting

Ability to prioritize competing tasks with minimum supervision

Computer literate and solid ability to learn computer applications such as Systems, Applications, and Processes (SAP/PRISM)

Demonstrated experience in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

Certified qualified applicator licensed by the office of pest management

Experience and Education

This role typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Facilities, Engineering, business administration or related field and at least 2 years of relevant experience in facilities management. In the absence of a degree a combination of education, applicable experience and/or certifications in lieu of degree may be considered.

Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools/sites that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship

Security Clearance (if applicable):

This position requires the eligibility to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Government security clearance as of day one of employment.
