Job Announcement: K-8 Resource Teacher/Middle School Support
Location: Carden of Tucson, Tucson, AZ
About the Role:
Carden of Tucson is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resource Teacher and Middle School Support Teacher to join our team. This offers an opportunity to work closely with small groups of students, providing individualized support and instruction in accordance with their IEPs. The teacher will work under the supervision of the Special Education Director and the Carden of Tucson Director, ensuring that students receive the necessary accommodations and modifications to support their success.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs K-8.
Implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
Support the general education teachers and families.
Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
Maintain accurate and compliant documentation.
Collaborate with the Middle School lead.
Teach Middle School classes as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education.
Valid Arizona Teaching Certification.
Current Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card
Experience working with Middle School students
