Montessori school has openings for full and part time elementary classroom assistants. Our unique, non-traditional school offers a rigorous academic program combined with hands-on learning that helps students develop independence, self awareness and healthy interpersonal skills. Our teaching emphasizes a "whole child" approach.
Elementary assistant duties include supervising groups of students throughout the school day, coaching them as they complete their academic assignments and monitoring them at lunch and recess. The assistant also helps the teacher track and record student assignments.
Ideal applicant is reliable, organized and willing to learn the Montessori approach to supporting children to develop and thrive in our unique learning environment which encourages independence, self direction and inspired learning.
