We're seeking a bookkeeper/Administrator for our small non-profit.
Essential tasks:
Prepare deposits, take to the bank and record donations weekly.
Maintain and update Bloomerang (donor database). Send thank you notes.
Pay bills in a timely manner. Coordinate with check signers.
Perform payroll functions in an accurate and timely manner, and submit payroll taxes to ADP
Conduct reconciliation of all bank accounts
Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner
Communicate regularly with the LCM Treasurer.
Prepare monthly financial reports through collection, analysis, and summarization of data in Quickbooks. Distribute prior to Board of Director meetings.
Tasks as time permits:
Oversight of the office (supplies, technology, scheduling maintenance, etc).
Help prepare and distribute quarterly newsletter
Help Pastor with annual appeal to congregations, donor engagement and relate to synod office.
Assist with Assist Pastor with grant reports and organizational details of fundraising events.
Updates to LCM website on Wordpress and email list through MailChimp, as needed.
Graphic design skills are appreciated!
Required Skills:
Confidentiality and trustworthiness.
Experience at bookkeeping. Attention to detail.
Experience and easy with computer programs, included Quickbooks, Microsoft Office, donor database.
Ability to lift 10 lbs, walk stairs, and has a vehicle.
We would like to hire you to work 2-3 days a week, 8-12 hours total.
The date/time is flexible (within a 9-6 window, M-F) and may be adjusted per the Pastor’s request.
