Become a maker of possible with us.Job Overview:The Sr. Human Resource Manager provides strategic and day-to-day consultation to the business leaders and client groups within their assigned functions. The selected individual will be able to build internal business partnerships and drive projects that support the organization's strategic objectives. This position requires that the individual be able to build and maintain relationships with senior level executives as well as employees at all levels. This individual will report to the Director, HR and is critical in helping to implement and drive specific HR initiatives across the organization. Key success factors are the ability to drive change, solve problems, offer creative solutions and promptly address all business needs.This role will work 4 days on site in Tempe, AZ and 1 day remotely on a weekly basis.Responsibilities:

Contribute to the business strategy by helping identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes

Provide assistance in forecasting and planning the talent pipeline requirements in line with budgetary confines and the function/business strategy

Drive HR culture, training and initiatives

Develop and deliver HR related training

Ensure leadership and coaching culture is cascaded through the organization

Provide clear leadership by demonstrating understanding of business trends and needs

Drive the people processes (performance, development, and career) to ensure that employees’ level of performance and capabilities meet current and future standards

Effectively manage and resolve employee relation issues in an objective and timely manner

Manage specific projects as determined in the annual HR calendar as well as participate in functional and cross-functional initiatives

Review and benchmark the internal and external environment to improve the HR policies and initiatives to enhance overall business performance and stay informed on relevant HR business practices and in compliance with employment laws

Identify and interpret HR metrics and trends, offering solutions to the business when appropriate

Build and support a culture of inclusion and diversity

Provide expert advice and coaching to employees where appropriate

Provide feedback as necessary regarding employee and management performance

Maintain close contact with HR team and encourage cooperation and close partnerships across business units

Identify and drive the communication and sharing of learning across functions to facilitate continuous organizational improvement

Manage recruiting and retention strategies with business partners

Performs other duties as assigned by manager

Education:

Bachelor’s degree required with a focus in Human Resources or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Certification:

SPHR or PHR certification preferred

Experience Required:

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a successful HR business partner

Strong written and oral communication skills

Experience Preferred:

Demonstrated budget management experience
