SummaryIntern Position will support the Sustainability Policy and Programs department in executing sustainability-focused employee programs to promote adoption and positive behavior change among employees which will assist SRP in reaching its 2035 sustainability goals.Applicant must have excellent research, organizational, analytical, and writing skills. Applicant must have a strong customer service ethic, willingness to work collaboratively, ability to work independently, a commitment to quality and attention to detail, and the ability to approach sustainability with curiosity and creativity.What You'll DoWithin this role, the intern would be expected to support the sustainability team in carrying out employee sustainability programs, which include but are not limited to, Ride Share, Workplace Charging, Local Roots Market, Green Team, gamification, and corporate events (Earth Day, Sustainability Fair, Employee Recycling Day).Employee program management tasks include event coordination, communications and content creation, research, data collection and reporting, employee support, outreach, and technical assistance.Additional support may be needed outside of employee programs to assist the sustainability team in other project areas.EducationCollege level coursework (100+) from an accredited institution will be evaluated on an individual basis according to the skill/level to determine if applicable to the position by management.Additional InformationOne-year internship with flexible work hours to accommodate academic schedules and vacations.Sustainability degree program preferred but not required. Pay rate depends on completed credit hours.Candidate must be currently enrolled and attending a minimum of 6 college credit hours per semester.Hybrid WorkplaceSRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
