We are a machine shop located in Tucson, Arizona, great opportunity for the right candidate, If you are a bright and motivated person who can program and set-up New Haas Mills, please apply. This is a full-time position. Hours are 6:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday
(4 ten-hour days). Overtime as needed. Pay depends on experience. We offer paid holidays and vacation to our employees.
July 4th week and last week of December off with pay and Bonus.
Responsibilities Include:
Ability to program using Master-Cam X, DXF/STEP files, setup and operate Haas MiniMills and VF2 Mill with
minimal to none supervision. Production low volume experience. 87% aluminum parts.
Ability to interpret and understand technical drawings.
Set-up of 3rd axis mills including calibration of cutting tools and location of work offsets for single and multiple part
production.
Verification of CNC programs and operation of mills.
Cleanliness of the work area and proper handling of tools, equipment, and stock to prevent damage or loss is essential.
Good knowledge of G & M codes.
Ability to follow through with written and verbal work instructions.
Must have minimum 10 years recent experience production contracted runs.
Must be able to communicate, read and write in English, Spanish is a plus.
Candidate must be reliable and dependable.
