We are looking for a seasonal part time Medicare Advantage Ambassador to attend events in the Maricopa County, AZ area.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10-20 hours a week (flexible), events scheduled between 8am-5pm (typically late morning / early afternoon), willing to work weekends.

Duration: Willing to start ASAP through December 31, 2022 (flexible end date; could extend)

Alignment Healthcare is seeking a friendly, passionate, and tech-savvy, ambassador (part-time, temporary / seasonal) engagement in the Buncombe County area to join the sales and community outreach team to be the "face" of the Alignment Health Plan brand. As an ambassador, you positively influence your community by establishing strong networks and relationships to market the brand via word-of-mouth marketing, whether it's representing Alignment at a formal event or in a casual conversation at the grocery store (i.e., referring family, friends, neighbors, aligning with senior community groups, etc.)

As an ambassador, you will attend community events and activities, sales meetings, and member meetings and assist the sales and community outreach representatives with creating brand awareness, generating leads, and driving plan enrollment by helping consumers and members understand Alignment Health Plan, its value propositions as well as its unique benefits and services.

General Duties & Responsibilities

(In addition to what’s listed above, may include but is not limited to)

Assist with event table set up and take down

Attend 2-3 hour long events

Drive to events in the Buncombe County area (hourly rate will be paid for drive time from home to event and back but will not receive mileage reimbursement)

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Skills & Experience

Technology skills: Comfortable and proficient with mobile phone text messaging, Microsoft Teams messaging, and Microsoft Outlook email messaging

Education / Licensure

Valid Driver’s License

Other

Must have reliable transportation

Willing and able to work between 10-20 hours per week (flexible / negotiable)

Willing and able to work Monday through Friday or on weekends

Seasonal / Temporary engagement ends December 31, 2022 (flexible to end sooner; could extend)

Pluses (Preferred but not required)

Knowledge of Medi-Cal, Commercial, and Medicare Managed Care Plans.

Bilingual (English / Spanish)

Language skills: Able to communicate effectively with groups of customers or employees of the organization.
