Seeking a Part-Time Route Driver. The right candidate will have a strong work ethic, be safety-minded and have a good working knowledge of the area being driven. This position involves loading/unloading merchandise and stocking merchandise in stores, and is suitable for drivers with a mechanical aptitude who do not mind doing minor repairs on their vehicles.
Responsibilities:
Service needed to convenient stores and high volume truck stops such as Circle K, QT, Pilot, Loves, Shell and Chevron.
Servicing stores in the Buckeye, Gila Bend and Ajo territories.
Every 2-3 months a delivery is required to Lukeville, AZ. A delivery that only requires to drop off product and no shelf stocking required.
Fill in on Route Owners vacation days and when needed.
Drive their own truck, cargo van or box truck for deliveries.
Satisfy customers' needs.
Know the location of the store or other delivery address.
Navigate with or without a GPS device.
Obtain signatures from customers for receipt of merchandise.
Communicate with customers by phone, text, or email.
Commission based pay. Driver will receive 10% commission of sales for the day. Sales for the day are usually between $2,000-$3,000 a day. Depending on the final sales amount, driver will receive between $200-$300 a day.
Supplemental pay will be provided for gas on days worked.
Route Equipment such as printer, paper, merchandising tape gun and handheld device will be provided.
Opportunity for purchase of a Bon Appetit Bread route in the future, if driver is interested.
