Job Title: UpfitterJob Description

We are seeking an experienced Upfitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in automotive work, including wiring lights, diagnostics, and hands-on assembly. The Upfitter will create and follow assembly plans, verify component quantities, manage parts inventory, and ensure product quality.

Responsibilities

Create plans for assembly procedures, following specifications and using knowledge gained by experience.

Assemble products by hand, using hand tools or portable powered tools, and/or operating equipment as necessary.

Verify the correct quantities of component parts and quality check completed items.

Manage parts inventory and use hand tools and mechanical equipment to produce structurally sound products and structures.

Document actions by completing production and quality forms properly and efficiently.

Comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

Essential Skills

3+ years of experience working on cars with expertise beyond basic oil changes and tire rotations.

Proficiency in wiring lights and performing diagnostic work.

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools and power tools.

Experience with mechanical assembly and repair.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Attention to detail and quality control.
