Description We are offering a role for a Project Assistant in Scottsdale, Arizona. This position is within the neuropsychology conference industry and is a short-term contract employment opportunity. The successful candidate will be primarily involved in conference event support, providing customer service, and assisting with setup and tear-down of events.Responsibilities: Assist in setting up and tearing down conference events, ensuring proper organization and arrangement of resources Respond to customer inquiries, providing detailed information and guidance on how to place orders online Handle physical tasks such as moving boxes of books and assembling display shelves, ensuring compliance with safety standards Maintain professional demeanor during conference hours, providing friendly and helpful customer service to attendees Utilize various Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for data entry and management Manage timelines effectively to ensure smooth operation of the event Organize files and resources for easy access and use during the conference Perform scanning and shipping functions as required Act independently and responsibly, comfortable working without on-site supervision Proactively ask questions to ensure accurate and correct information is passed on to customers. Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook Experience in Customer Service Demonstrated ability to manage timelines effectively Familiarity with Data Entry tasks Strong organizational skills, particularly in relation to file management Experience with scanning documents Proficiency in managing shipping functions Ability to multitask and work on various projects simultaneously Excellent written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills Availability to work in different time zones if required High level of integrity and confidentiality Ability to adapt to new technologies and tools as required Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
