Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Scottsdale, Arizona. As part of our team, you will be essential in managing and auditing our Food & Beverage Inventory, while also assisting the Accounts Receivable function and the Accounting Manager. Responsibilities Accurately and efficiently processing, tracking, and recording payments as part of the accounts receivable processes. Assisting the accounting team with month-end close responsibilities, which include processing member billing statements and performing account reconciliations. Keeping accounts receivable records updated, applying credits and collections appropriately, and accounting for uncollectible amounts. Recording bank deposits daily, updating and distributing cash receipts logs, and posting cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger. Identifying slow-paying customers and suggesting potential collections candidates. Ensuring compliance with internal controls and aiding in external audit activities. Collaborating with operational staff to address finance-related issues. Assisting in the creation of records retention policies and procedures, including organizing records retrieval and destruction. Communicating with members regarding past due accounts, statement questions, and other account inquiries. Handling other projects and tasks as assigned by the CFO, Controller, and Accounting Manager. Requirements Possess strong skills in Account Reconciliation Proficient in Accounts Receivable (AR) management Demonstrated expertise in Billing procedures Ability to handle Cash Applications effectively Experience with Cash Collections Familiarity with Commercial Collections processes Proficient in Microsoft Excel for financial data management Experience with Oracle financial software Proficiency in using QuickBooks for accounting tasks Familiarity with SAP financial software systems Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
