Command Center, Inc. in Flagstaff is hiring a Maintenance Assistant for a job with a client in Cottonwood! This is a full-time, temporary job that pays based on experience. The first shift is available.
Responsibilities:
Identifies hazardous situations, emergencies, or threats to the security of guests, associates, or hotel assets
Completes work orders, such as replacing ceiling tiles, filters, light bulbs, painting, repairs to pipelines, toilets, sinks, and draperies
Follows procedures to ensure the security of inventory and assets, such as tools, supplies, equipment, furniture, televisions, etc.
Performs preventive maintenance as outlined in the PM Works program
Keeps a record of work done in each room
Repairs plumbing, fixtures, and A/C equipment
Adjusts or replaces televisions
Completes painting projects
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. S/he is occasionally required to speak and understand English. S/he must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Requirements:
1 year of previous maintenance and/or painting experience; C.A.M.T certification is a plus!
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; Ability to write simple correspondence; Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
Appropriate professional appearance and demeanor
Availability to work 32+ hours per week and weekends
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Ability to meet the physical demands outlined above
