We are seeking a talented and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to join our team. Must have experience in construction, and be a diligent, straight-shooting, professional.
Job Description:
As a Construction Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of the construction process for our new home development project, as well as the remaining improvements across the property, such as landscaping, street signage, and the like. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. We need someone who is our go-to guy (or girl) to know everything that's going on, coordinate completion of improvements, and help us initiate our first builds.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate all construction activities on-site, including scheduling, subcontractor management, and material procurement.
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations, conducting regular inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or delays promptly to ensure timely completion within budget.
Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to interpret blueprints, resolve design discrepancies, and implement changes as needed.
Maintain accurate records of project expenses, labor hours, and materials usage, preparing regular reports for management review.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, providing guidance and support to construction crew members and subcontractors to maximize productivity and quality.
Using common sense to maximize efficiency and costs with a level head and sensible sense of urgency (go-getter).
Communicate clearly and often to Project Manager with daily updates, questions, and forecasting circumstances.
Qualifications:
Must live close-by to Ventura Ranch [10050 Ventura Way, Prescott Valley, AZ]
Proven experience as a Construction Site Supervisor or similar role in residential construction projects.
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and construction drawings, with a solid understanding of building codes and regulations.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate and motivate a diverse team of construction professionals.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
