Observe all vehicles and personnel entering the facility when suspected of carrying weapons, showing
hostility, or being unauthorized personnel.
At screening tents, ask standard questions of both visitors and staff. Will not be making any medical
decision.
Determine status of persons entering facility and shall direct persons to the appropriate screening area.
Make contact with visitors and employees to ask required initial screening questions. Direct personnel to
secondary screening area if appropriate and apply wrist bands to those needed.
May be requested to assist assigned personnel with a patient that is incapacitated.
Meet and deal with the general public in a manner that promotes a positive image of client.
Maintain professionalism at all times.
Perform package inspection when required. Maintain written reports for client.
Conduct foot patrols in accordance with the training and direction. Maintain an operations journal,
documenting all security related activity.
Discover and detain persons attempting to gain unauthorized access to property.
Report daily, in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, potentially hazardous conditions and
items in need of repair, including inoperative lights, leaky faucets, toilet stoppages, broken or slippery floor
surfaces, etc.
Perform other functions as necessary in the event or occurrence of civil disturbances or other criminal acts
adversely affecting the security and safety of the client, employees or visitors.
Enforce smoking policy and conduct traffic control duties. Contact client for ticketing needs

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to legally work in the United States
Must have a H.S. Diploma or equivalent
Have 2 years experience demonstrating the ability to meet and deal with the general public and the ability
to maintain poise and self-control under stress
Proficient in the English language, both orally and written
Ability to give instructions clearly and concisely, firmly but diplomatically
Ability to construct and write clear, concise, accurate and detailed reports
Ability to see and respond to dangerous situations
Ability to wear and use all protective equipment
Must be able to pass client background check
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Physically able to perform all general patrol duties, functions, and activities
Have documented tuberculosis testing every two years. Shall have tested as TB-free prior to starting work.
Be in good general health without physical defects or abnormalities, which would interfere with the
performance of these duties.
Occasionally bend/twist at waist/knees/neck to perform various duties
Standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, climb (running when necessary)
Ability to work in extreme weather like rain, snow, and extreme heat or cold
Must possess good vision, depth perception, distinguish basic colors
Ability to listen and communicate effectively through clear speech and hearing
May be subject to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use on a random basis
