I have a new and unique business operating in Jerome for a year now! This ad will detail exactly what the business needs for help, and what potential opportunities can open up with time.
The retail space features a live studio where I demonstrate my craft daily with 2 particular mediums represented, wax and wood. I actively detail the process of the art work to interested patrons. One of the sculpting mediums with wax may be presented as an opportunity for you to learn if you want to continue to grow with the business.
There are also classes that are offered from the space, which will range from painting to candle making.
The shop has now expanded to including apothecary products such as essential oils and all natural bath & body care. All products sold in this small business are researched to be sourced from suppliers with good ethics & clean processing.
Currently, the shop is in need of coverage 3 days a week, tues-thurs. This will start in the capacity of retail-help which will include sales, product know-how and merchandising.
As this shop is modeled to be part art studio, I highly encourage anyone working in the shop to work on their own art. (painting, sculpting, etc). This will also open up the opportunity for you to sell your pieces from the store, and even display any works up for sale. My intention of sharing this opportunity with you is to build community with our patrons and to offer enrichment for your time.
This business is currently growing and feels very supported by local patronage and repeat business. Jerome also draws in over 2 million tourists a year, and many people are first time visitors. If you are familiar with Jerome, then you will understand that predominately all the businesses in this tiny historic town are locally owned.
As a bonus, part of your experience working in this shop will also offer the views, quirkiness, and fascinating stories of Jerome which seems to never be redundant.
