MDI Rock is currently seeking a hardworking individual to work in the yard at our Phoenix location. If you enjoy working outdoors, consider yourself a self starter, are safety-oriented, and love getting your hands dirty this is the job for you!
The utility worker duties include but are not limited to general facility maintenance and clean up, operating water truck, pressure washing equipment and vehicles, fueling equipment and trucks, and assisting plant mechanics as needed. This is an entry level laborer position that opens up training opportunities for equipment operator within the company. Be able to stand and work outdoors
Full range of body motion including handling and operating levers or controls
Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Use of foot-controlled pedals
Required to frequently walk, stand, or bend and most of the time be out in the field at quarry location.
Required to have personal mobility, manual dexterity and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits the employee to access the general office environment and retail location.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Required to lift, push, pull, shovel and/or move up to 100 pounds without assistance
