Well established General Dentist in Prescott looking to hire a dental assistant. Experience is great but not a deal breaker; we will train the right person. We are a busy private practice that offers cleanings, fillings, crowns, extractions, root canals and more.
Duties include but are not limited to chair-side assisting the doctor, manage infection control, manage accurate patient charting, take X-rays, Impressions, pour up models, send and receive lab cases, disinfecting operatories, set up/break down of procedure trays, sterilizing instruments, stocking rooms, pulling charts, confirming appointments, and maintaining a clean organized work space.
Here are the qualities we are looking for in an assistant: honest, organized, eager to learn and grow, someone who is a great team player but also works well independently and under pressure. It is important for us to find someone who is willing to go the extra mile to make sure things get done properly. We are a small team. We work hard but also like to have fun. Our patients are family, and we pride ourselves for taking great care of them. Some of our patients have been coming to us for over 20 years. We are honest hard-working people and need someone who is like minded and ready to work. Duties may vary from day to day. We believe teamwork makes the dream work. Although we designate general duties, it is important to find someone who is willing to learn new skills to help each other when needed.
Hygienist starts at 7am, doc starts at 8. Assistants work from 7:30 - 4pm (days may vary depending on the workload) The office is open Mon - Thursday and closed on all major holidays.
Pay depends on experience.
