#HECResponsibilities

Would be joining a group with 2 Physicians.

Primary duties would consist of providing First Assist support to vascular surgeons, hospital rounding and discharging of patients after surgery.

Ideal candidate would be familiar with general/vascular surgery or similar specialty.

Volume: Surgical cases scheduled Monday through Friday with 1-5 cases each day. Clinic days provider would be responsible for inpatient rounding and updating surgeon as needed.

Inpatient Consults only.

Monday- Friday 7-4 or 8-5 depending on needs of the surgeon

No Call.

Weekend rounding- one weekend a month

Most common procedure’s would include:CATH LAB PROCEDURES:

ANGIOGRAMS: UPPER EXTREMITY; LOWER EXTREMITY; RENAL

AV FISTULOGRAM

VENOGRAM: UPPER EXTREMITY; LOWER EXTREMITY; RENAL

OR (REGULAR OR) SURGERIES:

AV FISTULA REVISION; AV FISTULA BANDING

BASILIC VEIN TRANSPOSITION

BYPASS: AORTOBILILIAC; AXILLOFEMORAL; FEMORAL; FEM-POP

CEA (CAROTID ENDARTERECTOMY)

FEA (FEMORAL ENDARTERECTOMY)

RFA (RADIO FREQUENCY ABLATION)

VEIN LIGATION/STRIPPING: SAPHENOUS

HYBRID CASES:

EVAR (ENDOVASCULAR ABDOMINAL AORTIC ANEURYSM REPAIR)

TCAR (TRANSCAROTID ARTERY REVASCULARIZATION)

TEVAR (THORACIC ENDOVASCULAR AORTIC ANEURYSM REPAIR)

Qualifications

Board Certified PA.

Completion of a PA Program

First Assist Certified

Valid state medical license

Valid DEA certificate

Vascular Surgery experience is a plus

Pay Range$57.70 - $70.75 /hourWe are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
