The Children’s Garden Preschool in Prescott, an incredible nature-based preschool, is hiring a part time Preschool Teacher/Substitute teacher to work in a co-teaching, child-centered and friendly environment. The school is a wonderful place to work, learn and play. The starting wage is DOE. The following prerequisites are required:
Applicant must be 21 years old or older, must have a HS diploma, preferably have a minimum of 3 credit hours from a college in the field of early childhood or child development, and ideally have 12 months of work experience in a childcare center. Applicant must have, or be able and willing to obtain, a Fingerprint Clearance Card, CPR & First Aide certification, and a negative TB test. The applicant must love children, have a passion for teaching and enjoy playing outdoors. The right person for this job will have high energy, great people skills, be able to multi-task and be willing to take directions, be compassionate, organized, reliable, loving, creative, patient, and flexible.
The Children’s Garden is a small mixed-age preschool that is based on children’s environmental awareness and personal & community development.
