Local courier company seeking drivers for on demand deliveries through out the valley. Fast pace environment. We are a 24/7 delivery company and are looking for various coverage. We are looking to fill hours for day time deliveries immediately. Various delivery hours are needed for late afternoon/ early evening and weekends as well. Both full and part-time available.
In addition we are looking for drivers interested in "drive outs" out of town on demand. Drivers can do both in town deliveries and out of town deliveries.
We are flexible with your current schedules and can fill in drivers where it works so again, have flexibility on availability.
This is an Independent Contractor position which requires the use of your own personal vehicle in addition to fuel costs. As an Independent Contractor you will be required to fill out a W-9/1099 tax form, which means you pay your own taxes. Vehicle include cars, suv's or vans will work. Knowledge of how to drive a 26' box truck (non CDL) a plus.
TSA EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS but not required.
Requirements:
Reliable insured vehicle.
Current Drivers License
Clean driving record,
Cell phone (email capability a must),
GPS (other than cell phone app),
The ability to lift 40 lbs
Valley knowledge
Clean appearance a must.
Good communications Skills.
Customer service oriented.
Willingness to work.
