We're hiring! OneTouchPoint is seeking highly motivated and skilled candidates to join our team. Due to growing needs of our business, OneTouchPoint’s Tempe location has openings for detail-oriented individual to join our Prepress team.
Qualifications:
We are looking for a quality-minded candidate with a strong work history to join our prepress department. The ideal candidate would be good at multitasking, able to handle a fast-paced environment and have good organizational skills.
Essential Duties:
This person will perform prepress functions on work coming into the department, making prepress workflow decisions and communicate with sales and customer services on files, proofs and data as the need arises. This person will also be able to program, understand and process variable data using JavaScript. You will need to be able to monitor quality by comparing file to job ticket specifications and prepare all required quality paperwork.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
A minimum of 2 years of experience with industry software & Mac/PC is required in a commercial printing environment.
Proficient and knowledgeable in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and Microsoft Business applications is a must.
Variable Data, Fusion Pro, Mailing, Agfa Apogee workflow, CTP output & processor knowledge a must.
Knowledge of the mailing process and data preparation.
Experience working with native files that require formatting for various binding styles.
Accurately record counts and time worked on all jobs.
Must be able to lift 10-25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
