Position Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned glass installer/glazier to head up our glass installation division. This person will plan and carry out responsibilities such as initial glass consultations in customers’ homes, measuring/installing glass (shower doors/glass, mirrors, etc.), and working alongside other installers on the glass team. Duties:
Plan and organize glass installation routes.
Work with additional glass installers, putting together training plans/classes.
Perform installations, upgrades, and additions for glass shower doors, enclosures, mirrors, and other related projects.
Install metal framework and hardware.
Maintain necessary truck stock/inventory with the warehouse team.
Load, transport, and unload glass products to and from job sites.
Complete and submit all task-related activities and documentation on time.
Undertake additional projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
7+ years of relevant experience.
Working knowledge of glass installation equipment and all grades of glass.
Ability to read and install according to drawings/instructions.
Heavy lifting of materials is required
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Check
Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous leadership experience in the construction/glass industry.
Proven track record of simple and complex shower glass installs.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with commercial installation services
Excellent customer service attitude.
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, twist, use hands, push, and pull
Ability to lift, move, and hold up to approximately 50 lbs.
