Currently hiring for an experienced Metal stud and Drywall estimator for a full time position with a growing framing company. Candidate will have experience estimating both large and small projects. The candidate must have a strong metal stud framing and drywall background, with many years of hands-on experience. Estimator’s typically have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:
Reviewing the status of tasks and projects to ensure they are progressing according to schedule.
Communicating with clients to discuss project details and to obtain information regarding their needs.
Coordinating with team members to monitor progress on projects and tasks, providing assistance when needed.
Coordinating with vendors to ensure that they deliver materials or services as per contractual agreements.
Reviewing budgets and preparing cost estimates for new projects.
Preparing change orders.
Providing material takeoffs.
Assisting senior staff with administrative tasks such as scheduling and coordinating projects and maintaining databases and job tracking.
Managing multiple projects simultaneously to ensure that deadlines are met.
Maintaining files of records related to projects, including meeting notes and correspondence.
Working with the field superintendent to ensure that the project is built per contract, construction documents, notes and change orders.
