Peopleready Skilled Trades is looking for Experience Low Voltage Technicians.
Experienced Data Technicians with a strong background in structured cabling and data terminations.
This role involves hands-on work in telecommunications rooms (IDFs), performing clean, efficient terminations and assisting with network infrastructure installations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform professional-grade data terminations (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber) including patch panels, keystone jacks, and field connectors.
Work independently in IDFs and MDFs, reading and interpreting cable layouts and documentation.
Route, label, and test cables according to industry standards (TIA/EIA).
Use tools such as cable testers, toners, punch-down tools, and fiber splicing tools if required.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while ensuring quality and attention to detail.
IT room terminations.
Requirements:
4+ years of hands-on experience in structured cabling and data terminations.
Proven ability to work effectively inside IDF environments with minimal supervision.
Solid understanding of cabling standards and best practices.
Familiarity with labeling, documentation, and cable certification processes.
Must have your own basic tools and PPE; specialized tools a plus.
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
Long term (Schedule: 5AM - 2:45PM, 45 min lunch, M-F, if good can work Sat/Sun
