Job Summary
As a Service Advisor you will be the frontline liaison between customers and technicians, managing inquiries, scheduling, payments, and creating estimates, to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction. This role requires strong communication and organization in a dynamic shop setting. Full-time position with competitive pay ($25-$30/hour based on experience).
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years experience working in the Automotive repair Industry (knowledge of hybrid systems is a plus).
1+ years experience specifically working in a automotive Service Advisor role
Valid driver's license with clean record.
Proficiency with tools like Pipedrive, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a shop/office environment.
Reliable transport; flexible for Mon-Fri 8 AM-5 PM, Sat 8 AM-3 PM.
Key Responsibilities
Greet customers, assess needs, and create/update Deals in Pipedrive (e.g., vehicle details, issues, promotions).
Schedule appointments via Pipedrive Scheduler, confirming slots in calendars and verifying discounts.
Prepare accurate estimates and explain repairs/pricing clearly to customers.
Coordinate with technicians on diagnostics/repairs; update customers on progress and recommendations.
Process invoices in QuickBooks Online, apply discounts/warranties, and handle payments (Zelle, cards, cash/checks).
Follow up on missed appointments, parts arrivals, and post-service reviews to build loyalty.
Monitor voicemail/email; log interactions and ensure timely responses.
Maintain organized records, including Customer Drop Off Forms and Vehicle Repair Orders.
Promote services/discounts to upsell while upholding safety and compliance standards.
Preferred Skills
Experience explaining technical repairs to customers.
Sales/upselling ability with focus on satisfaction.
Familiarity with automotive software and pricing.
Positive, detail-oriented team player.
