Licensed Carpet Installer

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Licensed Carpet Installer to join our team at Floor Daddy, Arizona’s leading provider of wholesale carpet flooring and installation services. This role requires expertise in carpet installation with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service to our residential and commercial clients throughout the Phoenix Metro area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install various types of carpeting in homes and businesses, including cutting, gluing, and stretching carpet.
- Prepare installation sites, including removing old flooring, inspecting and cleaning surfaces, and ensuring tools and materials are available and in good condition.
- Measure, cut, and install soil-resistant carpet padding as needed.
- Move furniture as required to ensure a smooth installation process.
- Work with clients to address any specific requests or concerns before, during, and after the installation process.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety and building code requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring all clients are satisfied with the installation service.
Requirements:
- Valid professional license in carpet installation.
- Proven experience as a carpet installer, with a portfolio or references.
- Strong understanding of different carpeting materials and installation techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and working in various positions, such as kneeling or standing for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to travel to different job sites in the Phoenix Metro area.
