We are a family-owned landscaping company located in Peoria and are looking to expand our irrigation department. We are looking for a professional who takes pride in their work and has a strong work ethic. Must be able to work independently or with a team depending on workload. Must be dependable and reliable with at least 2 years of field experience. We provide both field support/training as well as the opportunity to take formal classes.
Essential Duties:
Install new drip/irrigation and sprinkler systems.
Set and maintain times on computer and electronic controllers.
Troubleshoot irrigation system, solenoid valves, and other various irrigation components.
Perform scheduled shutoffs.
Check and repair leaks to minimize water loss.
Identify water deficiencies in turf areas and make necessary corrections.
Operate small trenching machines.
Perform strenuous work in outdoor elements, including extreme heat and desert environment.
Communicate effectively verbally, read, write, see and hear perform the essential functions of the job.
Qualifications:
Familiar with sustainable landscape practices
Strong customer service skills
Employees may be required to possess a valid AZ Driver license.
Previous experience as an irrigation technician
Knowledge of underground landscape irrigation systems repair and installation (Minim. 2 yrs)
