Our Milling Services Division in Phoenix, AZ is looking to add a Heavy Haul Driver. The Heavy Haul driver will be responsible for operating lowbed trucks and transporting heavy machinery, and materials to and from job sites.
Primary Responsibilities
Safely and efficiently transport heavy machinery, equipment, and materials to and from job sites using a lowbed truck.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the safe operation and condition of the lowbed truck and trailer.
Secure loads properly and ensure they are balanced and distributed appropriately for safe transport.
Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding weight limits, permits and road safety.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of transported goods, mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information.
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on the lowbed truck and trailer as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Valid commercial driver’s license, Class A with appropriate endorsements for operating a lowbed truck and trailer.
Proficient in driving an 18-speed transmission.
Proven experience as a Heavy Haul Driver, specifically in transporting oversize and overweight loads on a 6-7 adle lowbed.
In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal transportation regulations and requirements.
Ability to do day, night and out of town work.
