Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Glass Technician to join our team. This in-person position requires hands-on experience in fabricating, installing, and repairing various types of glass. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work independently in various environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Fabricate Insulated Glass Units (IGUs)
Cut, install, and repair glass from both residential and commercial projects
Work with different glass types, including annealed, laminated, and tempered
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and industry-standard glass equipment
Install glazing systems, frames, and perform proper sealing techniques
Read and interpret work orders, drawing, and measurement accurately
Maintain safety standards o job sites and operate lifts/ladders as needed
Adapt to various weather conditions and work environments
Provide excellent service to clients while representing Sonoran Glass professionally
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the glass industry
Proficiency in fabricating IGUs
Strong knowledge of glazing systems, frame installation, and sealing techniques
Valid driver’s license
Comfortable working with ladders, lofts, and in varying weather conditions.
Ability to work independently and solve problems on the spot
Excellent communication and customer service skills
