Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fleet Manager to oversee our fleet day to day operations and ensure optimal performance and maintenance of our vehicles and heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of vehicle maintenance, and the ability to align fleet operations with company goals. This role is crucial for maintaining safety standards, enhancing customer service, and ensuring efficient use of resources.

Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of the fleet, including scheduling maintenance and repairs for vehicles and heavy equipment.

Oversee vehicle maintenance programs to ensure all equipment is in compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.

Coordinate with service providers for repairs and inspections, ensuring timely completion of work.

Utilize power tools and heavy equipment operation skills to assist in maintenance tasks as needed.

Assemble and align various components of vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Maintain accurate records of fleet activities, including maintenance logs, inspections, and repairs.

Train and supervise staff on proper equipment handling, safety protocols, and customer service practices.

Requirements

Proven experience in fleet management or a similar role within the construction industry.

Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices, including familiarity with Caterpillar, Case, F-350 - F-750, Heavy duty on road trucks.

Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively.

Proficient in using power tools for assembly and repair tasks.

Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members, customers, and vendors.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to fleet management are a plus.

Bilingual is a MUST!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
