Brodie Commercial Upholstery is a mobile upholstery company servicing restaurants and health clubs in Phoenix, AZ (with a second location in the Puget Sound Area since 1986) since 2008. A few of our customers include Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Cheesecake Factory, EOS Fitness, Mountainside Fitness.
We are focused on equipping individuals to lead teams. Our goal is to partner with these key leaders as we expand into other regions. This position requires upholstery experience. Currently we are looking to hire an experienced upholsterer with sewing experience; pay ranging from $25 - $30 per Hour. We also intend to hire an apprentice within the next 6 months whose starting pay will range from $18 - 25.
Requirements Include:
5+ Years experience in the upholstery industry
Must have a valid drivers license.
Must be able to pass a drug test.
Basic Job Description:
Driving a company vehicle to a jobsite to upholster gym pads, restaurant seating, medical tables, and various furnishings.
Unbolting and bolting fitness pads from gym equipment.
Pulling staples
Sewing basic boxed pads in vinyl materials
Stapling vinyl covers and patterns.
This is medium duty work, you will need to lift up to 80lb on occasion.
Minimal tools are required as we supply all upholstery specific tools.
The scenery in mobile upholstery changes daily as we are rarely on the same jobsite longer than one day. You get to meet a lot of new people every day. Our standard hours are Monday- Friday from 5am to 1:30. Due to the availability of our customers' sites, geographical location, and traffic our start and stop times vary from time to time.
Paid vacation and benefits apply after a 90 day probationary period.
