Responsibilities
Perform basic automotive maintenance and repairs, including: oil changes, brake service, front end work, battery replacements, fluid checks, light repairs, and thorough inspections and diagnosis.
Assist senior mechanics with more complex repairs and diagnostics.
Conduct vehicle inspections to identify issues and recommend services.
Ensure all work is completed efficiently, accurately, and to dealership standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Properly document work performed and update service records.
Operate equipment and tools safely and responsibly.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair, preferably in a dealership setting.
Proficiency in using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and schematics for troubleshooting.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
Willingness to learn and take direction.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
