For the last 6 years I've been making money selling Solar Systems to RV owners that own Motorhomes, Travel Trailers, Vans, Truck Campers, etc. plus I've been selling Solar to Off-Grid Home Owners. I've been so successful selling Solar that I've decided to start selling Residential Solar. I want to work with a Solar Company that has a wide selection of products to sell and a strong training and support structure for me to thrive in. I hope to make both me and the company a lot of money, in addition to providing our Customers with a high quality Solar System that they will be happy with and tell all of their friends and neighbors about!
In the past I owned and operated a Marketing & Direct Mail Company where I sold Custom Printed Color Postcards, Brochures, Catalogs, Business Cards, Yard Signs, etc. and offered Direct Mail Services to Real Estate Agents, Political Campaigns, Car Dealerships, etc. My Direct Mail Machine could label and stamp over 30,000 pieces of mail per hour for only pennies per piece. I know how to get quality and inexpensive Leads!

MY SALES & BUSINESS EXPERIENCE IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER:
PHOTOGRAPHY: In High School I made money selling Wedding, Portrait, Group and Modeling Photography for my own Photography Company.
ELECTRONICS: In College I made money selling high-end Audio Equipment (Speakers, Stereos, Amplifiers, Tuners, Tape Decks, Turntables, etc.) for Appliance Stores.
MACHINERY: Also in College, I made money selling Commercial Machinery to Businesses in Michigan, Ohio and Indiana as an Application Engineer for a Machine Manufacturing Company.
REAL ESTATE: After College I made money as a Real Estate Agent selling Houses, Condos and Apartments for Real Estate Companies. I marketed using Door-to-Door and Direct Mail.
ADVERTISING & MARKETING CAMPAIGNS: Because marketing was such a big part of having a successful business, I started my own Photography & Direct Mail Company where I advertised my Real Estate business, plus made extra money selling Custom Printed Color Postcards, Brochures, Catalogs, Business Cards, Yard Signs, etc. and Direct Mail Services to Real Estate Agents, Political Campaigns, Car Dealerships, etc.
INSURANCE: For the last 15 years I've made money working as a Life, Health and Long Term Care Insurance Agent selling Health and Life Insurance Policies, Annuities, Final Expense, etc. to Individuals and businesses. During the winter I travel to RV Shows where I give FREE Medicare Seminars and sell Medicare Insurance Policies to the 60 plus age group.

I recently decided to stop traveling and settle down in the West. I want to start selling Residential Solar. I need to find a Solar Company that has a wide selection of products to sell and a strong training and support structure for me to thrive in. I hope to make both me and the company a lot of money, in addition to providing our Customers with a high quality Solar System that they will be happy with and tell all of their friends and neighbors about! MY SOLAR ENERGY STORY: To prepare my motorhome for the trip to all of the National Parks in the U.S., Canada and Alaska, I researched and installed a complete Solar System that provided me with all of the comforts of home no matter where I parked my motorhome. During my travels I started demonstrating and selling Solar Systems to other RV owners. To market Solar I gave FREE seminars in the Campgrounds. Because I have a Bachelor of Science Degree (where I studied Mathematics, Electronics, Chemistry, etc.) I found it very easy to teach and answer any questions that buyers might have. To sell Solar products I often needed to answer customer's questions about energy capture and consumption (watts = amps X volts, volts = current X resistance, costs per kilowatt hour, etc.), battery capacity, cost, etc.) which I could easily explain because of my educational background and experience. Also, part of my sales process was to calculate total expenses for them, such as material costs, labor, etc. depending on the type and size of motorhome they have.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT MY SALES AND MARKETING EXPERIENCE:
1. PHOTOGRAPHY: I started my first business while in the 8th. Grade! I started taking photographs at a very young age. In the beginning I was doing portraits of Grandma, family groups, pretty girls, etc, but I soon began doing Weddings. In the beginning I was only making a few hundred dollars per wedding. but by the time I got to High School I was making thousands of dollars per wedding. In fact, by my Senior Year I had a 500 horsepower GTO race car AND a brand new Motorcycle, plus lots of pretty girlfriends! I LOVED having my own business and making lots of money. I marketed my business using Direct Mail, Google Adwords and by setting up displays at Wedding Shows.
2. APPLICATION ENGINEER: During college (while getting my Bachelor of Science Degree) I studied Physics, Trig, Algebra, Calc, Electronics, Chemistry, etc. One of my Wedding Photography customers owned a big Machine Company, and he offered me a job as an Application Engineer, where I sold all kinds of Machines to businesses in Michigan. To sell these Machines I needed to explain things to customers, such as energy consumption (watts = amps X volts, volts = current X resistance, Costs per kilowatt hour, etc.), Finance (break even, profitability, etc.). Also, part of my job was to calculate installation costs such as electric lines, water lines, labor costs, etc. depending on the type of machine. We marketed using Direct Mail and by setting up displays at Trade Shows, etc.
3. INSURANCE AND REAL ESTATE: After college I diversified into the Medical Field and Real Estate. As a Real Estate Agent I sold residential homes, etc. I used Direct Mail to get leads. In the Medical Field I sold Health, Life and Long Term Care Insurance Policies to Individuals and Large Corporations. My products included Medicare Supplement and Advantage Plans, Group Insurance, HSA's, Life Ins., Disability, Final Expense, Hospital Indemnity Plans, Dental, Vision, Rx., etc. I was very successful in this business because I specialized in presenting FREE Educational Seminars, which produced all of my leads.
4. SOLAR: Several years ago (after saving up a lot of money) I decided to do something big on my "Bucket List". I sold my home, bought a beautiful motorhome, and I began a lifetime dream of traveling to all of the National Parks in the U.S., Canada and Alaska. To prepare my motorhome for the trip I researched and installed a complete Solar System that provided me with all of the comforts of home no matter where I parked my motorhome. I instantly fell in LOVE with Solar so I decided to start teaching and selling Solar to other RV owners. To help me market my Services, I spent $1000 on a portable Solar System that I would set up on picnic tables in my campsite. I would simply be out there with a pad of paper doing "experimental tests" and as other campers walked by they would be curious and ask me what I was doing. I would then start my sales pitch and teach them the benefits of Solar, and I would design and sell the best Solar System for them! They, of course, would tell others about me, so I got all of the FREE leads that I could handle.
5. INSURANCE: For extra money during the Winter, I travel to RV Shows all over the country and present Educational Medicare Insurance Seminars to people that are preparing to retire. In between seminars I write up policies that include Medicare Supplement and Advantage Plans, Final Expense, Prescription Plans, Annuities, Life Products, etc.
IN ADDITION TO THE ABOVE: I quickly learned the importance of having inexpensive and effective Marketing and Advertising to be successful in business. To generate leads for my businesses, I built a company that included Photography, Graphic Arts, Color Printing and Direct Mail. This company was so successful for me that I began selling my services to other businesses. My products included Consulting, Photography, Color Printing (Post Cards, Brochures, Catalogs, etc.), Graphic Art & Design, Mailing Lists, Labeling and bulk rate Direct Mail. My best Clients were Real Estate Agents, Car Dealerships, Insurance Agents, Political Campaigns, etc. My machines could put out 30,000 pieces of mail per hour for only pennies per piece
