Sales Representative – Roofing Sales

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Representative with a background in construction sales, specifically in roofing or with door-to-door experience looking for a career change and is willing to learn roofing. Sales Representative will be tasked with generating leads, close sales, and build lasting relationships with customer home builders, commercial clients, and residential customers. This role involves meeting with potential clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored roofing solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales. The ideal candidate will be working with Custom home builders, commercial property owners/ management companies, and understand the insurance claim process or financing for single family home re roofs. Company sales are generated through our corporate sales team so the ability to travel and market to homeowners surrounding those customers will be a must.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain relationships with homeowners, contractors, and industry professionals.

Prospect and generate leads through door-to-door canvassing, referrals, and networking.

Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the roofing sector.

Conduct in-person meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.

Conduct roof inspections and provide customers with detailed assessments and solutions.

Present roofing options, negotiate contracts, and close sale with homeowners and property managers.

Collaborate with the project management team to ensure seamless service and delivery.

Provide expert guidance on roofing products and services to meet client needs.

Negotiate and close sales deals to achieve and exceed targets.

Maintain detailed records of interactions and sales activities in CRM software.

Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings.

Attend trade shows, networking events, and other industry-related gatherings.

Qualifications:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Comfortable climbing ladders and doing inspection work.

Strong understanding of roofing materials, products, and services.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
