We’re BoxRight, a bold and fast-moving start-up in the relocation industry, changing how people experience moving day. We’re building a service that’s professional, personal, and actually enjoyable (yes, seriously). We’re looking for a polished, people-savvy Moving Consultant to help us grow – someone who’s great with first impressions, confident in person, and ready to hustle.
What You’ll Be Doing
This is more than just a sales role. You’ll be the face of BoxRight to new customers – building trust, quoting moves, and making sure each client becomes a lifelong fan.
Your day-to-day will include:
Daily Lead Runs: Every morning, you’ll receive a list of homes that went pending the day before. You’ll visit those homes, drop off a classy leave-behind (think: wine + flyer), and set the stage for a warm follow-up.
Evening Follow-Up Visits: You’ll return in the evening to meet homeowners in person, explain what we do, quote their move, and close the deal – all with a smile and a handshake.
Client Relationship Building: This is a relationship-driven role. You’re not just closing the sale – you’re checking in throughout the process, making sure their move goes smoothly, and turning every job into a referenceable, 5-star experience.
CRM Usage: You’ll be logging your leads, follow-ups, quotes, and job statuses in our CRM. We’re a data-driven company, and we like to keep our pipeline tight.
Brand Representation: Whether it’s how you dress, how you speak, or how you handle objections, you’ll be representing BoxRight’s reputation in every interaction. Clean-cut, professional, and approachable is the vibe.
What You’ll Need
A professional phone voice and excellent in-person presence.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills – you enjoy talking with people and they enjoy talking to you.
A self-starter mindset with a strong sense of ownership. You’ll be out in the field, setting your own rhythm.
Flexibility. We’re a startup, and our comp plan may evolve a bit as we grow. You’ll need to be adaptable as we refine what works best.
Willingness to work evenings – most homeowners are home and ready to talk after 5 p.m.
A clean driving record and valid license – we’ll provide a company car for all client visits.
Pay + Perks
$75,000 base salary
Commission on closed moves – On Target Earnings (OTE) of $150K+
Company car for all fieldwork and client visits
