Role Overview: The Warehouse Manager will oversee the performance of receiving, inventory, and warehouse staff. This role is critical in developing and managing processes and personnel to ensure accurate inventory, proper product rotation, and a high service level for delivering raw materials to production. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for team development, maintaining safe operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing costs while driving improvements in safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Oversee the movement of products to ensure proper tempering and supply to production, including maintaining appropriate minimum and maximum quantities.
Standards and Objectives: Set and uphold warehouse standards, goals, and objectives in alignment with organizational goals and company strategy.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure proper maintenance and service of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to maintain operational reliability and facility integrity.
Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, including Employee Safety, Food Safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Job Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in high-volume production and operational environments.
Skills: Familiarity with best practices for inventory control, loss prevention, quality control, productivity management, and HR policies and procedures.
Management Experience: Proven experience in managing a warehouse environment, particularly with short shelf life, perishable, or value-added-commissary production.
Inventory Management: Demonstrated experience in inventory management.
