SHIPPING & PRODUCTION ASSEMBLY POSITION FOR DESIGN STUDIO 88 INC
1/2 the day is Assembly Production the other 1/2 is Shipping

We are a Custom Promotional Buttons and Souvenir Fridge Magnet Manufacturer located in North Phoenix (85085) off of Happy Valley Road / I-17 behind Goodwill. We have expanded our client base and are in need of assistance in our shipping & production assembly department. Our main goal is to safely ship our products (mainly small packages up to 50 lbs.) while also help our assembly production assembly department. The ideal candidate is someone who has exceptional attention to detail, an excellent attendance record and strives for excellence and growth.
We are seeking a detail-oriented SHIPPING / ASSEMBLY PRODUCTION COORDINATOR POSITION to join our team.
Candidate will be required to:
Checking orders for accuracy
Packaging items and products
Check orders put in shipping box against report and print those that are missing
Make pallet labels for some outgoing shipments
Complete all paperwork for shipped orders and ship out in the system
Boxing and shipping samples to customers
Processing shipments into UPS WorldShip
Processing daily pickups by UPS, FedEX and USPS
Schedule and ready shipments for pick up (freight, FedEx, etc.)
Operating warehouse equipment including manual Pallet Jack
Keeping inventory of shipping material
Key in information onto Quickbooks online
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
Help out in magnet assembly when not packing shipments
Work daily M-F 8am - 5pm
Maintain an excellent attendance record
Qualifications, Education and Experience
Necessary and desirable qualifications include, but are not limited to, the following:
Strong attention to detail and quality
Strong sense of time organization and urgency
Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
Anticipate issues and handle them independently
Ability to delegate oneself and effectively manage workload
Basic mathematical and organization skills
Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50lbs.
1-2 years of shipping experience required
Must be know how to use a pallet jack
Physical Requirements
This position may include physical demands such as being required to stand for a long period of time; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Base salary
$18/hr to start, we will evaluate after 120 day probation period for increase. Holidays paid after probation period. Up to 5 days vacation after one year of employment.
