1. Basic Job Purpose
The PTR Assembler I ensures that assembling requirements are fulfilled in accordance with the production.
The instructions were received, and the product was assembled in accordance with approved procedures and assembly instructions.
Verifies that materials used and the assembled part meet product and process specifications. The Assembler works
under the direct supervision of a Lead Assembler and/or Production Supervisor to satisfy work assignments.
2. Assignment of Functions or Duties
Perform assigned functions from oral and/or written instructions, drawings, or manufacturing. Follow established
procedures/work instructions for assigned functions and handle materials in accordance with established procedures.
Maintain expected progress of jobs in the area of assignment and communicate problem areas or parts shortages.
Observe good housekeeping and safety procedures and keep equipment, tools, and work areas clean and orderly by
performing 5-S duties and demonstrating continued dedication to raising the bar.
Exhibit teamwork in all you do, maintaining a positive and team-based attitude. Support peers in times of high demand by
working hours assigned and overtime as required; also comply with scheduled start/stop times and break periods for the
facility.
Personal protective equipment is required where applicable.
3. Minimum Requirements of Skills & Experience:
Must be able to Pass background and drug test
Must have a High School diploma or GED.
Minimum one year of experience in assembly OR manufacturing setting.
Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
General knowledge of operating hand tools, portable power tools, and bench tools.
Strong attention to detail, quality-focused, and willing to learn.
Excellent communication skills.
Basic computer skills and the ability to operate computer terminals and general software applications.
Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints desired.
Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull, and grasp.
Ability to stand/sit for sustained periods.
Able and willing to lift 50 pounds frequently from the floor to tabletops throughout the work shift.
Willingness to work flexible hours such as overtime.
