Job description:
We are currently seeking a skilled Forklift Operator with experience in operating both fork and clamp attachments. As a vital member of our team, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials within our facility.
Must pass a background check and drug test.
Shift:
- 2nd and 3rd shift available
- Must be open to work any shift
- Must be open to work on weekends and overtime
- Must be able to train for two weeks on day shift (6 am to 2 pm)
Skills:
- Clamps Preferred
- Forks Preferred
- 1-2 years mandatory experience as a Forklift Operator
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a forklift operator, with expertise in operating both forks and clamp attachments.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklift equipment with both fork and clamp attachments to transport, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and storage areas with precision and care.
- Conduct routine pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and storage areas.
- Assist with inventory management by accurately tracking materials and supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and meet production deadlines.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management immediately.
