Great seasonal job selling cheese at local farmers markets in Greater Phoenix, and the East/West Valley areas on weekends, and some weekdays available. Pay is $18+ per hour. The farmers market season runs from Mid-November through April. We're looking for people who enjoy working independently, talking with people, and are really dependable. Someone who thrives in a fast paced environment will do really well.
A typical farmers market day involves waking up early, coming to our shop, loading the van with cheese and market supplies, driving to market, selling cheese at your market from around 9am until 1pm (depending on the market), driving back to the shop, and unloading. Days can be 9-10 hours, depending on market duration and drive time. Heavy lifting is involved. (Cheese is heavy!)
