Job description
Dodge & Vega PLC is hiring another family law paralegal for our growing Family Law firm in the East Valley, Gilbert/Mesa office. We are seeking a knowledgeable and driven family law paralegal who excels in a fast-paced work environment, and works well individually and as part of a legal team. Primary area of the law will be family law issues including but not limited to divorce, child support, legal decision making, custody issues, and more. PRIOR EXPERIENCE is required. You will be expected to jump in and immediately assume a case load.
Responsibilities include, among many others, the following:
Drafting various documents, including notices, motions, discovery, disclosures, stipulations and dismissals;
Researching local court rules
Electronic Court filing
Maintain e-mails and documents as determined by attorney and paralegal;
Sending and receiving correspondence;
Reviewing and indexing documents;
Tracking and calendaring deadlines; and
Working with existing and potential clients
Calling clients regularly to check on them and provide updates to them regarding their case(s).

Qualifications:
Strong computer skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Adobe.
Legal experience is preferred; however, we provide training.
