Duties:
- Install insulation (fiberglass batt, mineral wool, blown cellulose, blown fiberglass, or board) into a variety of structures and surfaces to exclude or retain heat.
- Install vapor retarders.
- Complete prep work including, but no limited to foam and caulk, baffles, etc.
- Load and unload building materials.
- Complete safety checks and basic maintenance of trucks and equipment.
- Job site cleanup.
- Other tasks assigned by management.
Required Skills:
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions; short correspondence and memos.
- Write simple correspondence; effectively present information to others one-on-one.
Required Experience:
- Must have 3 or more years’ experience
- Must have firestopping certification from manufacturer; (Hilti, STI, or 3M)
- High School Diploma
- Valid driver’s license
- General construction knowledge
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments
- Ability to lift and move heavy (75 lbs) with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to work in confined spaces as well as roof top
- Submit to and pass drug test
- Good previous work history
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
