Qualifications:
2+ Years as a Service Technician
Technicians must have an EPA Certification
Excellent attendance, a positive attitude as well as the ability to work in a team environment
1+ Years as an HVAC Installer
Physical ability to work on roofs and in attics

Responsibilities:
Diagnoses HVAC system performance through observation, testing and setup as required by trade/position and type/size of equipment to include split systems up to 25 tons, mini split systems, 3 tons/multizone, RTUS up to 50 tons, WSHP up to 15 tons, self-contained systems, CRAC units, scroll/reciprocating air cooled chillers, airside, AHUs and EFs
Proficiently operates hand tools, power tools, gauges and measuring equipment
Performs disassembly and reassembly of large or small commercial or residential HVAC equipment to perform troubleshooting and planned maintenance as indicated in the service agreement
Develops long-term relationships with customers and explains work performed to the customer's satisfaction
Participates in technician on-call-stand-by rotation as dictated by business unit policies and procedures
Inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC, air quality control, and refrigeration equipment
Troubleshoot, repair, install, and replace: air dryers, computer room A/C, makeup air units, split package A/C & HP, VAV, VFD, pumps, cl parts, varying weather conditions, and other related conditions and situations
This position may require a rotating on-call/stand-by schedule, including nights, and weekends

Troubleshoot, repair, install, and replace: air dryers, computer room A/C, makeup air units, split package A/C & HP, VAV, VFD, pumps, chillers, air handlers, cooling towers, air wash systems, evaporative coolers, steam and hot water boilers, air compressors, exhaust fans, and gas furnaces
Troubleshoot, monitor, operate, and repair computerized and pneumatic facilities automation controls, negative pressure rooms, ductwork and dampers, generator and refrigerant alarms
Perform preventative maintenance tasks on the following systems: air conditioners, heat pumps, gas furnaces, pumps, steam, and hot water boilers, cooling towers, air wash systems, evaporative coolers, air compressors, exhaust fans, blowers, VAV and VFDs, computer room A/C, air dryers; to include: water treatment, air-water filters, balancing, alignment, inspection and measurement and cleaning of above systems
Respond to repair and service calls and emergency work orders and maintain verbal communications with clients, field technicians, and management staff on emergency calls; monitor and control temperatures utilizing the Facilities Automation System computer
Operate computers and mobile devices for time management, inventory, work assignments, and other related functions
Other job duties as assigned
Incumbent may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, vibrations, fumes, odors, dust, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, workspace restrictions, intense noises, and travel
The work will occur in an office and field environment
While performing the duties and responsibilities, the employee may be exposed to loud noises, noxious odors, unsanitary conditions, chemicals, electricity, moving mechanical parts, varying weather conditions, and other related conditions and situations
This position may require a ROTATING on-call/stand-by schedule, including nights, weekends
