Busy luxury home remodeling company looking to hire an experienced framing carpenter to construct the framework of custom home remodels according to construction plans. The framing carpenter's position overview using levels to ensure that structures are exactly vertical or horizontal, constructing window and door frames as well as staircases and flooring, and installing temporary supports for structures as required. Must be able to read blueprints and have sound knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Accurately measuring, cutting, and shaping lumber, wood, and other building materials.
Attaching building materials using screws, nuts, and bolts.
Erecting temporary structures such as scaffolds and hoists.
Performing repairs on existing framework structures that are damaged or structurally unsound.
Analyzing blueprints and drawings to determine the structural dimensions of the framework to be constructed.
Analyzing construction plans to identify potential structural problems.
Examining building materials to identify any defects.
Performing cleanups of job sites by clearing away all carpentry debris and waste.
Reliable transportation, as we service Paradise Valley, Scottsdale and Central Phoenix and each day may be on a different jobsite. You must have your own tools.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Job Type: Full-time, Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm (summer hours 6am-2:30pm)
Pay: $28-30 per hour DOE
Benefits: Eligible after 90 days of employment (Medical, Vision, Dental), five paid holidays
