We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, load, and unload materials in a safe and efficient manner. Your attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols will be crucial in maintaining a smooth workflow within our warehouse.
Duties:
- Operate a sit down or cherry picker forklift to transport materials within the warehouse
- Load and unload trucks using a forklift or other equipment
- Safely stack and organize products in designated areas
- Perform inventory counts and ensure accuracy of stock
- Utilize warehouse management system to track and record inventory movements
- Conduct basic equipment repairs and maintenance as needed
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, including OSHA regulations
- Assist with order picking and fulfillment as required
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the distribution center
- Lifting 50lbs unassisted often
Skills:
- Recent sit down or Cherry Picking forklift
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems to track inventory movements
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and ability to adhere to OSHA guidelines
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and calculations
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Familiarity with order picking processes and techniques
