I own a local moving, carpet, and tile cleaning company that moves people and occasionally will do their floors on moveout or before they move in. I've had my company for over 10 years in the valley with excellent reviews in the hundreds. I had to stop my company in September because of family issues and will restart it in 2 weeks. I pay better than other companies in the valley and truly care for my people. I will be hiring 3 people for the crew and with myself it will be a four-man operation, we all work together everyday as a team and never split up. I have the best equipment for the jobs, I use a 34-foot custom-built trailer for easy access in and out without any ramps. My customers are usually amazing and tip very well and I don't take any of the tips. We usually work 40 hours but sometimes up to 50 hours and I do pay overtime after 40. I'm going to start everyone off at 20 dollars for the first 30 days. After each 30 day period the pay will go up 1 dollar each month until you reach 24 dollars per hour and that will be the new rate of pay on out. I have a great process for moving and it works very well. I guarantee at least 30 hours per week no matter what even if we do not work and I pay all major holidays and we do not work on them. I do not care if you have any experience in moving but I am looking for a hardworking, customer-focused, detail-oriented with strong common sense. I need to be very upfront, I do not tolerate any no-call, or no-shows, and being on time is very important. If you can't make it every day this is not the position for you. I promise this will be the best consistent money you have made, without the BS you find at distribution centers or construction jobs.
