The Environmental Technician is responsible for safely and efficiently performing general labor duties at environmental, construction and demotion sites. Responsibilities may include such things as site clean-up, fueling vehicles and equipment, general vehicle operation, general maintenance and other related duties.

Safely and efficiently perform assigned responsibilities to include such duties as:
Clean track on track type and related equipment
Ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient and safe manner.
Adhere to work schedule and able to adapt to challenges as they arise.
Be able to travel and assist with out-of-town work travel as required.
Perform yard work, including mowing and paper pick up
Operate general site vehicles and equipment, such as water trucks, pickup trucks, sweepers, mowers, trimming equipment, etc.
Tank cleaning, pipe laying, manual demolition, dust control, small tool operation, compaction, site security, and hand excavation.
Perform general maintenance and repairs and janitorial work.
Direct traffic at the site as necessary
Assist with Emergency Response duties as required.
All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Previous experience as an Environmental Technician 1- 2 years required
Good customer service skills to meet and exceed customer expectations. Acts in a professional, courteous and cooperative manner toward customers and co-workers. Must possess a sense of honesty and trustworthiness.
Excellent time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient and safe manner.
Excellent follow-through. Ability to adhere to work schedule and able to adapt to challenges as they arise.
Ability to adhere to company policies and rules and safety standards.
Able to demonstrate pride and ownership in performing daily tasks. Strives to achieve company goals.
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
