J Ginger Masonry has a current opportunity available for a full time Shop Foreman. The essential duties and responsibilities include:
Duties & Responsibilities:
On-site supervision of field crews
Ensuring crews are operating tools and equipment in a safe, proper and productive manner
Ability to completed quality control and manage production for timely completion of jobs
Ensure proper job documentation is completed at the completion of each job
Reading of construction drawings and ensuring structures are built according to design
Maintaining clear and constant communication with client and project superintendent
Efficiently delegating project tasks amongst other team members
Daily reporting of project activities to include work completed, work remaining, changes to design or scope, and any injuries or
near misses on site.
Ability to operate heavy equipment (i.e., Backhoe, Excavator, Skid-steer, Loader)
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
7+ years of experience in general construction with at least 5 of those years in a Foreman or similar position
Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) (Required)
Demonstrated ability to read, interpret and execute to construction drawings and contract specifications
Established commitment to safety
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with the customer, crew and project teams
Basic computer skills and construction math skills
Valid driver’s license and a clean AZ Motor Vehicle Record
